North American organization Envy Gaming Inc. announced that it is expanding its headquarters and establishing a training facility at Victory Park in Dallas, Texas.

Envy Gaming Inc. is the owner of global esports franchise Team Envy, as well as the Dallas Fuel franchise in the Overwatch League. The esports organization was founded as a professional Call of Duty team in 2007 and has since grown into one of the largest and most winning esports groups in the world. In fact, Envy was the first North American esports organization to win an Overwatch championship in Korea and holds the Guinness World Record for the longest winning streak in Overwatch by any team.

Envy Gaming Inc. competes, streams, and produces content across multiple gaming titles, including Overwatch, Call of Duty, CS:GO, FIFA, Fortnite, Paladins, PUBG, Rocket League, and Street Fighter V.

In 2018, Forbes ranked Envy Gaming as one of the Top 10 Most Valuable Esports franchises in the world.

Envy Gaming’s New Facility a Catalyst for the Company

The new headquarters will be home to Envy Gaming’s executive team, including staff members of both of its franchise teams.

“Our new training facility and headquarters in Dallas is going to transform the way we compete, engage with our fans locally, and reach fans around the entire world,” said Mike Rufail, CEO of Envy Gaming.

He added that this opening is a catalyst for the company to make even more significant leaps for the entire esports industry.

The 22,000 square foot facility will include areas for team training, content creation, and player development. The location at Victoria Park was attractive to Envy due to the access to nearby amenities.

Envy Gaming moved its headquarters from Charlotte, North Carolina, to Dallas, following a significant $35 million investment from Ken Hersh and the Hersh Interactive Group in 2017.

Dallas Fuel and Dallas Empire players are being moved from various locations in North America to Dallas in time for the 2020 opening of the facility.
